Helen Dimos lives and works in Boston, Massachusetts, and Athens, Greece.

She has studied at Harvard University, the Iowa Writers' Workshop, SUNY Buffalo and Columbia, and she has taught literature and writing at the University of Iowa, SUNY Buffalo, and BMCC CUNY. Her writing has been published in various journals in the U.S.

The summer of 2014 she co-organized the Paros Translation Symposium in Athens Greece along with poets Siarita Kouka and Susan Gevirtz.
