BIO

Christine Koukourava has a degree in Greek Literature from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki with specialization in Modern Greek Literature. At present, she is an undergraduate student in School of English of the same university. Her areas of interest are modernism, both in fiction and poetry, and post-modernism, especially, in contemporary American Poetry. What is the main concept of her approach to literature is the comparative nature of texts and the intertextual connections that develop between poems, authors, poets, movements and ethnic literary production. She believes that literary value results from its ability to capture the authentic personal experience.
