BIO

I hold a B.A. in Spanish Language and Culture and a second B.A. in English Language and Literature from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece. I’ve been recently admitted to the M.A. in English and American Studies. I am interested in contemporary American literature, feminist theory and creative writing. I am intrigued by the work of Lucia Berlin, Joan Didion, Jamaica Kincaid, Jhumpa Lahiri, and Alice Munro among others. I enjoy Rebecca Solnit’s essays and crime novels. Literary translation is essential in spreading ideas that broaden our intellectual horizons and help us understand differences and similarities of the diversity of human experience.
