LYDIA MAKRI

My name is Lydia Makri and I am an undergraduate student in the School of English of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece. A particular personal interest in poetry has been triggered in me ever since my first teenage years and later on confirmed when I was graduating from junior high by my attending a seminar on creative writing run by the Patakis Publishing Company in 2015. Throughout my years in the university, I have also been given the opportunity to publicly display a personal attempt of mine, during the international symposium of experimental narratives, organized in 2019. As far as I am concerned, poetry is a very special means of art and expression, and it is because of its unique nature that it has captured my attention. Experimenting with writing is like experimenting with ways of thinking. So the more the opportunities, the richer I feel.
