MARIA EPISKOPOU

Μaria Episkopou is a student in the Department of English Language and Literature at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, Greece. She describes herself as both a creator and a consumer, as she loves to write and read, watch movies and shows, listen to music and podcasts, and sometimes even draw or do graphic design. She is especially inspired by themes of the woods, freedom, alienation and dehumanisation, self-love and the grotesque or the abject. She speaks three languages and is an outspoken nerd. Walt Whitman is one of her favourite poets.
