Adrian Grima's poetry in Maltese has appeared in three collections, It-Trumbettier (1999), Rakkmu (2006) and Riħ min-Nofsinhar (2008, with Immanuel Mifsud). His “Ireland” poems will soon be published in Northern Ireland with translations into English by Catherine McGrotty and a cd with his poetry set to music by Rory McCarron.
 
His work has been translated into twelve languages and has appeared in various publications in different European and Mediterranean countries. Solo collections of his work have appeared in English and in German. This year he has been invited to read his work in London, Algiers, Cairo, Alexandria and Lodève. He also writes poems and short stories for children. Dr. Grima teaches Maltese literature at the University of Malta, specializing in metaphor and the presence of the Mediterranean.
