ATHINA PAPADOPOULOU

Athina Papadopoulou is a graduate from the School of English at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece. Currently, she is working as a second language teacher at a private institute for foreign languages while doing an MSc in Immersive Technologies - Innovation in Education, Training and Game Design at International Hellenic University. One of her poems was published as part of the Experimental Narratives International Symposium in 2019, and it was then translated for the Poetry Day of 2020. In 2022, her work featured in the Poeticanet project "Hearing Whitman Singing Creativity: Poiesis in Motion," and in the ASRP website relating with urban spaces and the melting pot of diverse cultures. Her academic interests blend literature and linguistics in an effort to inspire learners to enjoy reading. She wishes to create a welcoming environment for all, especially for individuals with learning difficulties, such as dyslexia, and she believes in literature serving as a means through which everyone can be brought together through the means of immersive technologies.
